Young Scholar Plenary Session

With a view to the future generations, ACUUS 2023 will feature a Youth Forum and a Young Scholars Plenary session where selected papers by the Scientific Committee will be presented by scholars/engineers aged 38 or below.  Click here to find out more.

Shanghai Declaration Activities
On the occasion of the 4th Anniversary of the Shanghai Declaration signed in Dec 2019, ACUUS and its key partners, UN-HABITAT and the Science and Technology Committee of the Shanghai Housing and Urban Rural Development Committee, are planning a series of activities to celebrate our achievements, take stock, and recommit our pledge to promoting the use of underground space for sustainable urban development. Details of the activities will be announced soon. The attached documents show the Shanghai Declaration signed in 2019, and the Tokyo Declaration signed in 1991.

Technical Visits & Learning Journeys

Apart from "sedentary" conference presentations, Technical Visits and Learning Journeys will be organised during and post-conference.

Exhibition Showcase

To offer networking opportunities during the conference, we will host an exhibition showcase hall where all attendees and exhibitors can socialise in a relaxed setting.

Conference Networking Opportunities

We have planned a welcome reception on 1 November and a Conference Dinner on 2 November. These two events are a great way to build relationships with fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and learn more about the industry. Enjoy these evenings amongst friends and good food featuring Singapore's iconic cuisines!
